Getting MORE Traffic for Your Parked Domains

Well, since Parked Domains won’t attract too many visitors from search engines, we’ll need to use some tricks.

Important: We’re going to use what it’s called Cloaked Pages or Redirected Pages. Please read the terms of your Parking Company and check that they don’t mark these techniques as prohibited for them. Most Parking Companies don’t have problem with this, but just in case…read the terms.

Understanding What We´re Going To Do

We’re not going to use the DNS of a Parking Company. Since we have to upload many pages to our domain, we’ll need a hosting account for it.
The DNS for the domain, will be given by your hosting provider. Once you have a domain + hosting, we’ll generate the content.
We’ll generate a site made of “Doorway Pages” with a Doorway Generation Software.
A DGS creates hundreds of optimized pages for the search engines, for a given keyword. Each one of them will be optimized for a different keyword (but related to your main keyword).
Many of those pages will get indexed at the search engines. When someone, finds one of those pages at the SE´s and click them, he is redirected to the parked page (or to another url you want. Example: an affiliate program).

In our case, we´ll redirect the visitors to a parking page.

Let me explain you this. Some parking companies, give you what is called URL Forwarding.
For example, NameDrive.com lets you directly point your domain to their dns, but if you don’t want to change your dns, you can make some kind of redirection to http://www.ndparking.com/domainname.com (where you will be replacing domainname.com with your domain name).
So, in our case, we´ll attract traffic with doorway pages and redirect That traffic to the URL forwarding address.
For example: Suppose you own something.com. You create a site for it with doorway pages. When a user arrives to one of this pages through the search engines, the doorway page will redirect he/she to the following URL:
http://www.ndparking.com/something.com

Well use Phantom Cloaker.

Phantom Cloaker it’s a doorway generator software. The program is easy to use. You enter a keyword related to your site, and the software It generates hundreds of optimized pages for the search engines.

Ok. You have the generated pages that will redirect to your parking Site. Now what?

# Alternative A: One Hosting Account For Each Domain

Register a domain and a host account. Add the domain to your Parking Account. Then upload the site you’ve generated with Phantom Cloaker To your host account.
If you have to register many domains, getting too many host accounts Could be very expensive.
You could try a reseller hosting with unlimited host account creation.
There are many cheap reseller hosting (10 bucks per month or less) out there.
For example:
- Http://www.Hostprince.com
- http://www.Optikhosting.com and others.

Google search terms:
“WHM reseller unlimited accounts”
“reseller WHM unlimited accounts”

WHM is the panel that lets you create host accounts.

# Alternative B: One Hosting Account For ALL your Domains.

You can host many domains with one host account. This is what we Call “Add-on domains”. If you’re going to open a host account, check they have this.
I recommend you to get a hosting with Cpanel (a big number of host Providers have Cpanel).
Before using the add-on domains feature, you have to set the DNS Of your domains to the DNS of your main host account.

Adding Domains
1) Go to your Cpanel Account.
2) Select the ‘Addon Domain’ Function.
3) Add the domain to your host account.
4) Then upload the site generated with Phantom Cloaker to the folder that corresponds to your addon domain.

Remember to add the domain/s to your parking account.

Some Recommendations for Phantom Cloaker.

- Avoid making sites with more than 200 pages.
- Create a hand made index page for your site. Put some text and graphics. At the bottom of it place 4 or 5 links pointing to some generated pages.
Your index page can’t look made by a robot. If you’re lazy, you can use the same template for a dozens of projects.
- Don’t drive traffic with Phantom Cloaker to Adsense sites.
They can cancel your account.
- Don’t use Phantom Cloaker in your most valued domains.
- Some Parking Companies don’t let you send traffic to parked pages from doorway pages.
- NEW: When using redirection, it’s better to use flash redirection or javascript redirection.

You may be asking…Why don´t I put adsense on those sites?
You can’t use Doorway Pages with Adsense.

Now, most of the Parking Companies show ads from the 3 big search engines players, and will share a part of the earnings with you, so this technique will let you indirectly work with those companies using doorway pages.

Remember that things may change from time to time!

Domain Parking it’s great for lazy people who want to make $ without wasting time. To Park a Domain is to register it and point it to some “Parking Company”, (there are many around and we’ll mention some of them later), who will give it a basic design with some ads. When your visitors click your ads, you get cash.
That’s parking. You don’t need a hosting company, you don’t have to spend hours designing a site.

How Much Can I Make From a Parked Domain???

Less than developing it. But, If you’re like me you won’t have time to deal with all the things you have to deal to set up a website.

Generally, you’ll get less profits from a parked domain than from a developed one, but you can register and park over a hundred domains in the same time that it takes you to register and develop 5 domains (or less)!

“The More You Park, The More You Earn”

Suppose you make $3 a month from a domain you’ve regged at $10/Year. Your earnings will be $26. Not too much but not so bad for a domain that took you 5 minutes to register. Now, if you want to be serious with domain parking, you should increase
Your Domain Parking Portfolio as much as possible.

Let´s do Some Low Numbers.

50 Parked Domains Making $26 a year each = $1,300
100 Parked Domains Making $26 a year each = $2,600
500 Parked Domains Making $26 a year each = $13,000
1000 Parked Domains Making $26 a year each = $26,000

Remember: This supposing you make $3 a month from domain, but in MANY cases you can make that a DAY from a domain!

We need to register a domain. Prices vary from $6 to $10/Yr. for .com domains and from $2 to $4/Yr. for .info domains.
Just try to register your domains with a company that provides you a easy way for transferring it to other guy (in case you want to Sell it). We also need to be notified by mail when our domains will expire.

Parking it’s easy: You create an account, add domains to it, and then change the DNS of your domain, pointing them to the DNS of your parking company.

One Advice: Try to choose a Parking Company with good / customizable Templates. If your sites look very “parked” / “cold” the user may detect he has arrived to a parked page and get away without clicking an ad.

Most of the Parking Companies can pay you with PayPal. If you’re outside the United States, getting the money from your paypal
Has 2 considerations:

1) In many cases you’ll get the money by check and…
2) You must reach at least $150 USD in your account to retire a check.

If you don’t want to get the money by check or you can’t reach the $150 min. in the first months, you must use Xoom.com.

Xoom works like Western Union. You can send money from one account to another. And the one who receives the money, can pick it up in an Office.
Xoom will use funds from your PayPal account to send the money.
So, how can you get the money? Send the money to yourself! Very easy.

Making Money with Parked Domain Names

Have you ever typed in a domain name and came to what looks like a default page of a domain name registrar that reads, http://www.vet-update.com is under construction?

Well it is time to stop advertising your domain name registrar site and start using that parked domain name for making money.

How do I Make Money with my Parked Domain Names?

The first step is to make sure that your domain registrar offers Forwarding or Redirection service. If you do not know what Forwarding or Redirection is let me explain. Forwarding a domain name means that your domain registrar will forward anyone that types a domain that has forwarding on it to another domain. For example if you set up forwarding on yourdomain.com to yourotherdomain.com, when anyone types in or clicks a link to yourdomain.com they will automatically be sent to yourotherdomain.com. That's it! I use NetFirms to register domains and they offer the Forwarding for Free.

Finding the right affiliate program.

After you determine that your domain registrar offers Forwarding you will need to find affiliate programs that are directly related to your parked domain names. For example, I have a domain name http://www.all-games-download.com Now I would want to look for an affiliate program that sells download games. It is best to find affiliate programs that are directly related to your parked domain name. You will find a higher percentage of affiliate sales will be made that way. If a visitor is already interested in the same subject of your domain, it does not make sense to send them to something they are not looking for.

I joined an affiliate program...now what?

After joining an affiliate program you will be given a Referring URL that contains your id in the URL. Next you will go to your domain registrars site and set up the forwarding of your domain to the referring URL. Continuing with our previous example our fictitious referring URL is http://www.downloadgame.com/id=me. Remember this is fictitious for example only. So I go to my domain registrar and have all-games-download.com forwarded to http://www.download.com/id=me. Now when someone clicks on a link or types in

all-games-download.com they are automatically taken to site they can buy show tickets at, and since my referral id is in the URL, I will get credit for any sales made. It is that simple.
